Although I usually reside in the worlds of NRL and Cricket, the path of a freelance sports journalist has taken some unexpected turns. Whether it be floor managing the biggest indoor equestrian event in England, being suspended from a giant prop while filming in the Middle East, or trying to create a wind machine effect on an unsuspecting cricketer in Tasmania using a hairdryer and a couple of pedestal fans, I’m never quite sure where it will take me next.
It means never saying no and setting up permanent camp eight suburbs away from your comfort zone.
I hope the ride is interesting for you too!
Hey Melinda,
I do enjoy your comments & images, be it Twitter or Instagram. a very grounded and “tongue in cheek” approach on occasions which suits my sense of humour! I look forward to continuing the journey, well, your journey! Keep up the good work!
And I think I offended Adrian Vowels last night? 140 characters makes it a bit hard!
Cheers,
BT
You look super cool doing job.
Best wishes,
Cricket Fan
